Cookies and optional technologies

The reading theme supplied with Employer Cost Observatory does not set optional preference, advertising or analytics storage. It does not show an “accept all” banner for technologies it does not use.

What can still use cookies or logs

WordPress login and administration can use authentication cookies. Hosting, email and any added integrations must be evaluated separately. Browser history and server request logs are also distinct from cookies.

The supplied editorial package includes no analytics, advertising scripts, external fonts, third-party embeds, credential forms, payment forms or optional browser storage. WordPress administration uses authentication cookies. Other plugins, host-inserted code, services and technologies on the deployed site have not yet been verified and require a separate privacy review.

This publication uses WordPress. The hosting provider, CDN services, processing locations and actual server configuration have not yet been verified. The publisher must check and describe the deployed services before public operation.

Website requests may be processed by the host and other delivery services. Actual request-log contents, access, retention and deletion practices have not yet been verified. No retention period or privacy compliance assurance is asserted. The publisher must verify and update this page before public operation.

If technologies change

The publisher must update the disclosures and implement any required controls before adding optional tracking, advertising or embedded services. A banner alone does not prevent data collection. Loading, refusal, later withdrawal and repeat visits must reflect the actual technology used.
